The 12&U meet will have the following qualifying standards, with a maximum of 5 events per swimmer (only 1 IM event):
For the distance meet - 1 Event per swimmer. There will be a 20 minute warm up between the end of 400 Free and start of 800/1500 Free. To maintain session timeline, the host club may limit entries for 800 and 1500 free to top 24 and top 18, respectively.
HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Masks:
All public health guidelines will be followed throughout the competition a) Officials, volunteers and coaches will wear masks throughout the competition. b) Swimmers will wear masks except for immediately prior to entering the water
Provincial Health Order rules:
a) All adults/volunteers will need to show proof of vaccination to enter the facility.
b) There are no spectators allowed in the building. Parents are to drop their swimmers off at the pool entrance. It is requested that swimmers arrive on time to assist in the entrance process. Meet Management will send an update closer to the meet on how the PHO and Facility rules will be conducted.
Parent Chaperones:
Each club is expected to provide 1 chaperone for each 15 swimmers attending each session. Parent chaperones are expected to assist in enforcing mask wearing protocols.
